To help put ads within the game without disrupting gameplay or become annoying to users.
My Approach
Look into how other games are incorporating ads yet have tons of players and long life.
Ads need to not disrupt gameplay or be predatorial
Allow ads to be ingrained into the gameplay
Make seeing or interacting with ads free rewarding for the users time
Creating a proto persona to help us understand the targeted audience. We made sure to break down the average person that would be looking to donate both time an money. It was important to state what users we are looking to convey this organizations message to.
User Flows
Looking into how the user will see ads naturally during gameplay
Hifi Prototype
Showing how each ad will intergraded into the gameplay but also be optional to allow the user to make the choice to interact to be rewarded.
Final Design
Looking at quick and easy ways to allow the user to gain in game rewards by watching ads yet allowing the user to choice when they would like to interact with said ads to not interrupt the flow
